Chloi – Project

The complex, consisting of three independent buildings in a seaside area, was constructed in 1978.

For over four decades, no maintenance or restoration work had been carried out, resulting in extensive damage and deterioration of the façades due to time and the marine environment.

Prolonged exposure to moisture and salt had caused significant damage to plasters, surfaces, paint coatings, and non-structural elements, altering the overall appearance of the complex.

The works began with the installation of scaffolding and the removal of deteriorated plaster on all façades.

This was followed by the repair of damaged concrete sections, using special restoration mortars and reinforcement replacement where necessary.

Subsequently, new plaster coatings were applied, and the painting of surfaces was completed, aiming to protect the structures and enhance the aesthetic appearance of the façades.

Upon completion of the works, the buildings regained their original form, maintaining the character and aesthetic that distinguished them.

The façades were fully restored, while the interior spaces and stairwells were refreshed with new color schemes, enhancing the cohesion and brightness of the complex.

The final result reflects the proper execution of technical works and the careful selection of materials, ensuring durability and aesthetic consistency over time.
